President Crowley’s Invitations

1) Will you—starting today—pray more specifically, consistently, and diligently for our missionaries and for opportunities to love, share, and invite?¹

Please include praying by name for our full-time elders (currently Elder Shult and Elder Searle) in your homes, in your sacrament meetings, and in your Ward and Stake Council meetings.

Please also pray for the missionaries serving from our stake throughout the world and here at home.

Expect miracles!

2) Will you commit to follow the counsel from Elder Soares to always have your next temple appointment scheduled?²

And if you don’t have a current temple recommend, will you always have the next step on your journey to enter or return to the temple scheduled?

3) Will you review this week President Nelson’s talk “Peacemakers Needed?”³

Look for ways to become of one heart and one mind by helping to overcome the divisiveness that permeates our community, our politics, our social media feeds, and even our sports fandom.

Strive to learn how we can unite around truth and around fundamental principles of goodness, fairness, honesty, and compassion.

4) Will you before the sun rises next Sunday morning reach out to the families you minister to and to the brothers and sisters who minister to you?

Please set up a time for you to be in their homes and for your ministering brothers and sisters to be in your home this month.

Our charge is to ensure that there are no poor among us. Seek to be a part of eliminating all kinds of poverty from among us: hunger and physical needs, loneliness, hopelessness, fear, doubt, and more.
